Cloud Computing provides us means of accessing the applications as utilities over the Internet. It allows us to create, configure, and customize the applications online.

What is Cloud?

The term Cloud refers to a Network or Internet. In other words, we can say that Cloud is something, which is present at remote location. Cloud can provide services over public and private networks, i.e., WAN, LAN or VPN.

Applications such as e-mail, web conferencing, customer relationship management (CRM) execute on cloud.

What is Cloud Computing?

Cloud Computing refers to manipulating, configuring, and accessing the hardware and software resources remotely. It offers online data storage, infrastructure, and application.

Cloud Computing

Cloud computing offers platform independency, as the software is not required to be installed locally on the PC. Hence, the Cloud Computing is making our business applications mobile and collaborative.

Basic Concepts

There are certain services and models working behind the scene making the cloud computing feasible and accessible to end users. Following are the working models for cloud computing:

  • Deployment Models
  • Service Models

Deployment Models

Deployment models define the type of access to the cloud, i.e., how the cloud is located? Cloud can have any of the four types of access: Public, Private, Hybrid, and Community.

Cloud Computing Deployment Models

Public Cloud

The public cloud allows systems and services to be easily accessible to the general public. Public cloud may be less secure because of its openness.

Private Cloud

2020’s iPhone 12 range was popular but 2021’s iPhone 13 range should be even better, thanks to a bunch of new, innovative features coming to the phones – features you do not get on the iPhone 12.

Nothing is confirmed just yet, but there seems to be a pretty solid consensus on what we can expect from the iPhone 13.

Here are six of its biggest and best new features detailed in full…

1 – Smaller Notch

The iPhone’s notch has been a bone of contention ever since the iPhone X launched way back when. And every passing year since, leaks have claimed the notch would shrink or, better yet, disappear.

The bad news is that the notch isn’t going anywhere on the iPhone 13. The good news is that it will almost certainly be smaller. And the reason? A redesigned camera module that integrates the Rx, Tx, and flood illuminator to allow for a smaller overall footprint.

This rumor was initially published by DigiTimes and then backed up by a statement from Barclays analysts that claimed the notch will be smaller thanks to a “more tightly integrated version of the current structured light system” for FaceID.

Overall, the notch should be about 10% or 15% smaller than it was on the iPhone 12. That’s not a massive decrease in size but it is a start, and it is definitely a move in the right direction towards a notch-less future.

3 – LiDAR Scanner

One interesting rumor doing the rounds at the moment claims the entire iPhone 13 range will get LiDAR scanners. Now, you should 100% take this with a pinch of salt – it has already been debunked by a few sources, including Ming-Chi Kuo.

Kuo says the LiDAR scanner will remain an exclusive camera feature aboard the Pro models in the iPhone 13 range. Although, saying that, Kuo has been wrong in the past, so perhaps he’s got his wires crossed here?

It would be a huge boon to Apple’s iPhone 13 camera array if all the models – even the cheapest ones – packed in a LiDAR scanner.

4 – Bigger Battery Life

One of the biggest gripes with the iPhone 12 was its battery life. The inclusion of 5G, and the demands it places on the CPU and battery, resulted in the iPhone 12 having a weaker battery than the iPhone 11.

And it wasn’t a small difference, either.

The iPhone 11 can last around four hours longer than the iPhone 12. In a bid to resolve this issue once and for all, Apple is said to be outfitting the iPhone 13 range with significantly larger batteries.

How much larger? No one seems to know for sure right now, but it should be a pretty meaty update on all models.

5 – 120Hz ProMotion Display

No iPhone to date has used 120Hz displays. Apple already has the tech to do this, however – it’s called ProMotion.

According to sources, Apple is adopting LTPO display technology on its iPhone 13 range to bring ProMotion displays to at least two of the models.

And you guess which ones, right? It’ll be the most expensive iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Samsung will be supplying the new ProMotion 120Hz OLED panels and while the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini will not get ProMotion, they should feature updated screens with better contrast and color balance.

If you want 120Hz and ProMotion, however, you will have to pony up the cash for either the iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max.

6 – Faster 5G

The iPhone 12 launched during the infancy of 5G. Since then, things have progressed. Modems and chipsets have evolved quite a bit; they’re now more efficient and can deliver faster speeds.

Apple is also expected to increase its shipments of mmWave 5G iPhones in 2021. In fact, more than 50% of iPhones shipped in 2021 are expected to be mmWave 5G, although single 5G band support will be in place on certain models for specific regions.

Barclays analysts say the iPhone 13 range will feature WiFi 6E, a new standard of wireless connectivity that extends into the 6GHz band for improved performance, lower latency, and improved download/upload speeds.

Bottom line? Your iPhone 13 will be faster on both WiFi and mobile data.

Conclusion:-

Is the iPhone 13 going to be worth upgrading to? I think so, especially if you’re currently running an iPhone 11.

The  iPhone 13   will have an improved display, upgraded cameras, faster 5G and WiFi, and a smaller notch. The battery life will be significantly improved too.

As always, if you want access to all of the best new features in the iPhone 13 range, you’ll have to go with the iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max.

If you go with the iPhone 13 Pro Max, you’ll basically get everything discussed above, including the new 120Hz ProMotion displays and access to higher storage variants (1TB), although the latter will be properly expensive.

I’m currently using an iPhone 11 Pro and I deliberately avoided the iPhone 12 because I knew there’d be issues with 5G and battery life. It looks as if these issues will no longer be a problem on the iPhone 13.

Chuck in improved mobile data and WiFi speeds, a smaller notch, and a faster CPU, and you’re looking at one hell of an update.

The range of iPhone 13 colors is perhaps of more interest to the majority of people than any specs changes. Talk of new and returning hues is certainly one of the most eagerly discussed aspects of the upcoming iPhone 13.

You can understand the fascination — while anticipated features like faster refreshing displays and better cameras mean improvements down the road, an iPhone's color is the first thing you see when you gaze at the new phone. It's also what you're going to be staring at for the entire time you own your iPhone. So settling on the right iPhone colors is a key part of making a good first impression for Apple.

When it comes to color and the iPhone 13, we're still in the early stages of rumors, even with the iPhone 13's fall release drawing closer with each passing day. We've heard a few rumblings about potential new colors, with some rumors more reliable than others. We expect to hear a lot more about potential colors as the iPhone 13 launch date approaches.

Still, that shouldn't stop us from taking what we've heard about iPhone 13 colors so far, combining that with how Apple's handled past iPhone releases and coming up with some predictions on what colors are in store for this fall's models. Here are our best iPhone 13 color guesses based on the latest rumors about Apple's new phones.

iPhone 13 colors: What we've heard so far

Unlike rumors about the display on the iPhone 13 Pro models, the shrinking notch across all four new iPhones, and the A15 processor that's likely to power this fall's phones, rumors about potential colors have been few and far between at this point. Still, there are a few rumblings you should pay attention to

Space gray and graphite — mainstays in the rainbow of iPhone color offerings, especially for recent Pro models — could be replaced this fall, at least according to Max Weinbach, a well-regarded leaker. Weinbach has suggested that the iPhone 13 Pro would replace the graphite color included as an option the iPhone 12 Pro models with a black matte look instead. Think an iPhone that looks more black than gray with a matte finish.

Apple tried this before, with the iPhone 7. That 2016 release included a black matte design along with a glossy jet black option. That latter color was particularly susceptible to scuffs and scratches, which is probably why it was dropped for the iPhone 8

Weinbach's color claims don't end with matte black. Back in March, the leaker also claimed Apple could add a bronze or orange option to the iPhone 13 Pro lineup. Weinbach hedged that claim, by saying the bronzish orange look was only an option Apple was considering, and that it might be dropped before Apple settled on the final iPhone 13 Pro colors

A more dubious rumor has shown off renders of a  Pink iPhone 13 These have surfaced and certainly have got people talking about this bright new look for Apple's phones. But the source of the rumor — an online phone store — seems to have gotten it from a concept design for the iPhone 13 and not a leak that could be traced back to Apple, so don't start thinking pink just yet.

More rumors have since arrived from a user on Korean forum Naver. This claims that while Apple will offer the same silver color on the iPhone 13 Pro as it did for the iPhone 12 Pro, all the rest will be different. The new range of colors will supposedly add black, rose gold and  "sunset gold" the latter of which may refer to the  orange/bronze iPhone 13 Pro option we've seen previously rumored. This source isn't that established yet, but the fact their claim lines up with more well-known sources gives their information credence.

iPhone 13 colors: A look back at recent models

In a world where we're flooded with rumors about every aspect of the iPhone 13, that's a pretty paltry amount of hints about possible colors. But we can augment those details with our understanding about what Apple's done in the recent past with the colors of its smartphones.

Phone      Colors
iPhone 12, iPhone 12 miniWhite, Black, Blue, Green, Purple,  Product [Red]
iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro MaxGraphite, Silver, Gold, Pacific Blue
iPhone 11White, Black, Green, Yellow, Purple, Product [Red]
iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro MaxGold, Space Gray, Silver,  Midnight Green
iPhone XRWhite, Black, Blue, Coral, Yellow, Purple, Product [Red]
iPhone XS,  iPhone XS MaxGold, Silver, Space Gray

Past three years of iPhone releases, you can see some patterns emerging when it comes to colors.

  • The standard and mini iPhone models usually opt for brighter colors, while things are more staid and business-like for the Pro phones.
  • Apple tends to stick with half-a-dozen colors for the standard and mini iPhones. White, black and Product [Red] options are the mainstays, while green and purple have some staying power, too.
  • There are generally fewer color options for the iPhone Pro models — three to four. And graphite, silver and gold tend to stick around year after year, with one wild card color.

iPhone 13 colors: What we're predicting

Taking all this into account, then, we can make some educated guesses as to what happen has planned for the iPhone 13 colors. These are subject to change, as more rumors about colors emerge.

Let's assume the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini feature a half-a-dozen colors like the iPhone 12, iPhone 11 and iPhone XR before them. Let's also assume that white, black and Product [Red] aren't going anywhere. After all the fuss Apple made with introducing a purple iPhone 12 model this spring, we'd assume that color will stick around for the new iPhones in the fall as well.

That leaves blue and green as the iPhone 12 colors that are potentially on the chopping block. You'd figure that Apple would change at least one of those colors for the iPhone 13 just to freshen things up. If it were up to me, I'd keep blue, but until we hear more from the rumor mill, let's tentatively count on that pink color replacing either blue or green, as flimsy as that possibility may look at this point. We wouldn't be upset if Apple were to take a cue from a concept design by Ian Zeibo, and produce an orange iPhone 13 that's reminiscent of the iPhone XR's coral option.

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max COLOURS

Moving to the iPhone 13 Pro, let's pencil in the black matte color option, and not just because Weinbach has tipped it, but because Apple is also dropping space gray as a color for some accessories. Gold and silver seem like well-established colors, while the fourth slot — currently Pacific Blue — seems to shift with each iPhone release. We'll assume the bronze color takes that spot for the iPhone 13 Pro.

iPhone 13 colors: When we'll know what Apple chooses

iPhone 13 colors will remain unknown until there's an Apple executive on stage in front of a giant slide that shows off the new options this fall. However, you can expect additional rumors to leak out between now and then.

With production reportedly underway, expect leakers in Apple's supply chain to tease out more iPhone 13 details including the potential colors the new models will appear in. Accessory makers are notoriously chatty, too, so the minute they get any hint as to what colors they should plan for, you're going to be reading about it online.

In other words, there are a few more months to go before the iPhone 13 colors become obvious to all.

Tech tips: How to secretly read a WhatsApp message without letting the sender kno

Yes, it is a text-don't-call-dominated world. But there are times when you can neither text nor call but you also can't throw your phone away. During times like these, what you can do is read the WhatsApp message without letting the sender know so that you can take your time to get back to them, without them feeling that you have read and not replied to their messages. A simple way to do this is to simply turn off the read receipts or blue ticks, but this is a 2-way-street and you will not be able to guess if the other person has read your WhatsApp message or not.

Turning off read receipts or disabling blue ticks on WhatsApp is easy. To disable read receipts, go to WhatsApp. Accounts > Privacy> Turn off read receipts by swiping left.

However, if you are the curious sort and WANT to know who seen-zoned you, and delve into eternal misery, but also don't want others to know that you read their WhatsApp messages, you can follow this trick -- before opening a WhatsApp message, out your phone in Airplane mode and when you are done, it will be marked as unread even if you have turned off the Airplane mode

Another trick you can follow to show your presence less on WhatsApp is to turn off your last seen. Go to Settings > Click on Account > Select Privacy. You can tweak settings to disable last seen for your contacts or for no contacts at all.

You can also mark a WhatsApp message as "unread" for times when you see a message but don't read it so that you remember to read and reply to it later. To mark a message as unread, tap on a message and hold it, then select Mark as unread. Note that the sender will know that the message has been read but you will be reminded that you have not actually read it through a blue or green dot.

In related news, WhatsApp is working on a way to let users transfer their chat history from iOS to Android. Until now, chat histories could only migrate from an Android device to an Android and from iOS to iOS. WhatsApp is currently testing the feature and is yet to make it official. Google has also added a Data Restore Tool app to Play Store that, as the name suggests, allows users to hold on to content from their old devices while setting up their new devices. The Data Restore Tool allows users to transfer apps, photos, contacts through a cable or cloud backup while setting up a device. As of now, the app version on PlayStore is 1.0.382048734, which could reportedly allow users to copy their WhatsApp chats and history from an iPhone to an Android phone.

Affiliate Marketing for Beginners: 7 Steps to Success

Interested in tapping into the billion-dollar affiliate marketing industry? This guide will help you get started.

Affiliate marketing is when you promote other companies' products. When someone buys through your affiliate link, you get a commission.

As an affiliate, you’re a salesperson for the company. You help to make a sale, the company rewards you.

The best thing about affiliate marketing is that you can do it at scale. A typical salesperson only sells products from one company. As an affiliate marketer, you can promote products from many different companies and earn commissions from all of them.

The merchant gives each affiliate a unique link so they can track who was responsible for a sale. The link will usually look something like this:

When someone clicks that link, a small file called a cookie gets stored on their device.

An affiliate cookie does two things:

  1. It helps the merchant attribute the sale back to the right person;
  2. It (usually) holds an expiration date, so you get paid even if the buyer delays their purchase.

Here’s an example of how this works.

Imagine that a reader visits your post about the best winter jackets. They click on one of your affiliate links, leading them to a product on Amazon.

But they realized they have to pick up their daughter from school. So they leave their house, pick up their daughter, have dinner, and then finally go back to Amazon where they find the product again.

Since they’re already shopping on Amazon, they decide to purchase some ski gear too.

Here’s the good news. Earlier, they clicked on your affiliate link and a cookie was stored on their device. Because Amazon has a 24-hour cookie duration, you get compensated for both the winter jacket and ski gear—even though you didn’t promote the latter.

The simple answer is that there is no limit. It depends on your niche and the amount of work you put in.

The most successful affiliate marketers make six or seven figures a month.

For example, Pat Flynn from Smart Passive Income made over $100,000 in affiliate commissions in December 2017.

According to Statista, business spending on affiliate marketing will hit $8.2 billion in the U.S by 2022.

Start today, and you’ll be in a prime position to take advantage of that.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to get started with affiliate marketing in seven steps:

  1. Decide on a platform
  2. Choose your niche
  3. Find affiliate programs to join
  4. Create great content
  5. Drive traffic to your affiliate site
  6. Get clicks on your affiliate links
  7. Convert clicks to sales

But before that, let’s cover some basics. READ MORE::

How does affiliate marketing work?

The merchant gives each affiliate a unique link so they can track who was responsible for a sale. The link will usually look something like this:

When someone clicks that link, a small file called a cookie gets stored on their device.

An affiliate cookie does two things:

  1. It helps the merchant attribute the sale back to the right person;

How much money can I make as an affiliate marketer?

The simple answer is that there is no limit. It depends on your niche and the amount of work you put in.

The most successful affiliate marketers make six or seven figures a month.

For example, Pat Flynn from Smart Passive Income made over $100,000 in affiliate commissions in December 2017.

2 spi earnings 2

Ryan Robinson, another affiliate marketer, reported over $19,000 in affiliate revenue in October 2019. Another successful affiliate website—The Wirecutter—made an estimated $10 million in revenue, and was eventually sold to the New York Times for $30 million.

Keep in mind though that these people have done an excellent job building their brand. It’s taken them years of hard work to reach this level.

If you’re just starting out, your checks might look more like this for a while:

You need to manage your expectations. You won’t earn the big bucks right off the bat, but don’t let this discourage you.

The success of others tells you that with hard work, time, and the right knowledge, you too can potentially reach those levels.

Choose your niche

Let’s be honest: if you’re starting a blog today, you’re facing a ton of competition. Statista estimates that the number of bloggers in the U.S will reach 31.7 million by 2020.

To stand the best chance of success, niche down.

Choose a topic that focuses on a specific category. For example, the topic of “food” is an enormous category. Rather than tackling that, try something more specific, like grilling food.

Keeping your topics tight can help you build a more focused audience and potentially help you rank higher in search engines.

That’s what I did when I built my first site. Instead of talking about “dance” or “hip hop,” I decided to limit myself to just breakdancing. Despite not knowing anything about SEO back then, I managed to rank for a few key terms and generate ~3,000 organic visits per month.

breakdancedecoded organic traffic 2

Later on, as you cover the bulk of this category and build traffic to these pages, you can expand into other areas.SIDENOTE. Want some ideas to get started quickly? Here’s a cool list to check out.

Now, if you’re going to be the main content creator, choose something you’re interested in.

Many affiliate sites die due to a lack of consistency. So at the very least, if you’re passionate about a topic, you’ll find it much easier to press on when the going gets tough.

Don’t worry if you’re not an expert in the field. As Gary Vaynerchuk puts it, “document, don’t create.” Documenting what you’ve learned can make great content and attract people who are interested in following your progress.

If you’re outsourcing the content, then it’s better to work with seasoned experts in the niche. Experts can help you create high-quality, trustworthy work, which can lead to more traffic, engaged visitors, and more affiliate sales.

NEXT Step:: Find affiliate programs to join

There are three types of affiliate programs to choose from.

A. High-paying, low-volume affiliate programs

These are affiliate programs for niche products with high payouts.

For example, ConvertKit’s affiliate program pays almost $700 per month if you send just 80 customers their way. However, as they sell CRM software for small business owners, there’s a limited pool of buyers.

convertkit affiliate program 2

There also tends to be more competition for programs with high commissions. Since you’re probably just starting, it’ll be quite challenging to make a meaningful amount of money competing against skilled marketers with deep pockets.

B. Low-paying, high-volume affiliate programs

These are affiliate programs for products with low payouts but mass appeal.

For example, take PS4 games. Lots of people play PS4, but the average cost of a game is only around $50, and affiliate commissions are usually in the single digits. This means you’ll earn $2–3 per sale if you’re lucky.

The redeeming quality of these types of programs is that they usually offer tons of products to sell. Take Amazon’s affiliate program, for example. You can earn up to 10% commissions on almost anything Amazon sells.

The other good thing is that you often get commissions on the entire value of the purchase rather than just the product you recommended.

To make these types of affiliate programs pay, you’ll need lots of traffic.

C. High-paying, high-volume affiliate programs

These are affiliate programs for products with mass appeal, which also pay high commissions.

One example is credit cards.

Everyone needs a credit card, and most people stay with the company for years (sometimes even decades!)

The downside of these types of products is that they attract affiliate marketers with lots of expertise and deep pockets. Some also use spammy tactics that you just can’t compete with.

And since this is a tutorial for beginners, I won’t go any deeper into this.

Just be aware that these programs exist.

How to decide which affiliate programs to join

This depends on your niche and level of expertise.

If you’re targeting consumers, you’ll likely go with the second model of low commissions and higher sales volume.

If you’re going after a business audience, you’ll likely go for the first model: high-paying and low volume. The most popular programs here are for software and web hosting-related products.

How I Made 21 200 09 Blogging in October 2019 Blog Income Report 2

The best way to find these affiliate programs is with a Google search.

google search 2

Alternatively, enter a competing affiliate site into Ahrefs’ Site Explorer and go to the Linked domains report.

For example, I know that Pat Flynn promotes several software products on his website, Smart Passive Income. Eyeballing the Linked domains report shows that Pat links to Aweber pretty often.

5 aweber affiliate 2

Clicking the “Links from target” caret reveals that Pat is an affiliate.

6 aweber 2 2

It only takes a quick Google search to find an application form for this program.

However, if there is a product you’d really like to promote without a public affiliate program, reach out to the company and ask if they would be willing to build an affiliate relationship with you.

NEXT Step: Create great content

If you want your affiliate site to succeed, you need to create high-quality content where your affiliate links fit naturally.

Here’s an example. Tim Ferriss interviewed 100+ famous people and asked them this question:

What purchase of $100 or less has most positively impacted your life in the last six months (or in recent memory)?

He published the answers in a blog post and included affiliate links to the products mentioned:

7 linked text 2

Judging by the comments, his fans loved it.

This is what you have to emulate when creating content for your affiliate site.

Don’t just blindly curate products from Amazon’s best sellers. Go the extra mile to make sure your content solves the visitor’s problem.

How? If you’re doing reviews, actually purchase the product and test it. This is what the Wirecutter did, which explains their success.

8 recommendations 2

If you don’t have money to buy every single product, you can always start with what you have at home. For example, if you had a tech blog, you could create reviews on the gadgets you own.

Final thoughts

No affiliate marketing wheels were reinvented here. These are the fundamentals, and applying them will get you off on the right foot.

Just don’t expect life-changing income or the freedom to quit your 9–5 overnight. Affiliate marketing takes time.

Focus first on making your first affiliate sale. As your site grows, set new goals, and continue experimenting.

This is how to build up a site that eventually generates a decent income.
